VINTAGE

The 2021 vintage will be remembered for low yields with intensely flavored, small-sized berries and a smooth and uneventful harvest season. The season started off with very little rain, leading to the 2nd year of drought conditions.  While concerning in the long term, the drought of 2021 resulted in a more natural load on the vines, requiring less pruning and dropping of fruit. The resulting grapes are packed full of flavor.  Truly, one of the great vintages.

We are thrilled to introduce you to our 2021 Dedizione, a wine that epitomizes our unwavering dedication to crafting Italian-inspired masterpieces right here in Napa Valley. "Dedizione" translates to "dedication," and no wine better reflects our commitment than this exquisite blend. This extraordinary wine showcases our devotion by seamlessly merging the unique characteristics and essences of its varietals. Aged for 20 months in barrels, with 30% new French oak, the 2021 Dedizione is truly a remarkable creation. With only 3 barrels produced, it is as rare as it is exceptional.

TASTING NOTES

Our 2021 Dedizione offers a complex blend of aromas including dark cherry, leather, light-roast coffee, and fennel. The palate presents flavors of fresh-picked blackberry, currant, and Madagascar vanilla bean. The weight of this wine on the palate is pleasantly dense without smothering. The finish is long, whilst not overstaying its welcome, sporting a presence of moderate tannins.
