2019 Sangiovese

Signature Sangiovese notes of Morello cherry and saddle leather, along with hints of blackberry and cocoa powder. On the palate the wine is sumptuously textured and captivating, commanding attention, which is rewarded with discoveries of espresso, molten chocolate, and clove.

Very enjoyable now, this wine will grow in complexity and richness for 7 years, and will hold for a further 3-5 years.

Pair with bistecca alla fiorentina or a porterhouse steak. Grilled Portobello mushrooms with olive oil, butter, and parsley would also go well with this wine. A flourless chocolate cake would make a great dessert pairing.
