VINTAGE
The 2021 growing season was blessed by late winter rains that replenished our soil moisture as the vines emerged from dormancy. A cold spring led to a slower start for the vines, but we avoided any frost danger. Summer growing conditions were exceptional, with consistent weather and blue skies ushering in a Goldilocks summer that was not too hot and not too cold. We are thrilled with the quality of the grapes from the outstanding 2021 vintage.

WINEMAKING
Sorridente means “smiling,” and that is what we do while assembling this blend. Once the component wines have settled in the cellar to reveal their character, we select the brightest, cheeriest barrels from each lot and make many trial blends until we find the one that will leave a smile on your face.

TASTING NOTES
Layered, complex aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Medium-weight on the palate, with a medley of fruit flavors that will surely bring a smile to your face.

Pair with chicken saltimbocca, eggplant parmigiana, or focaccia with rosemary and olives.
