VINTAGE
The 2022 vintage is being hailed as “the tale of two harvests,” a testament to the year’s distinctive conditions and remarkable outcomes. Napa Valley grape growers, accustomed to adapting to climate variability, faced unprecedented challenges, including a five-day heatwave in September followed abruptly by rain that temporarily halted the harvest. The typically measured pace between white and red wine harvests vanished, replaced by a whirlwind of activity until the rain provided a brief respite. Grapes that remained on the vine through October benefited from mild, temperate weather, achieving optimal ripeness. The red wines from 2022 exhibit exceptional structure, deep color, opulent tannins, and exquisite fruit-driven aromatics.

The name "Dedizione," meaning "dedication," perfectly reflects the passion and precision poured into every bottle of this exceptional blend. Aged for 21 months in barrels, with 35% new French oak, this wine harmoniously integrates the distinct characteristics of its varietals, resulting in a truly sophisticated expression. With only three barrels produced, the 2022 Dedizione is both a rare and extraordinary achievement.
TASTING NOTES
The 2022 Dedizione greets the nose with an inviting bouquet of ripe black cherry, plum, and dried rose petals, interwoven with subtle hints of cedar, tobacco, and warm baking spices. On the palate, the wine unfolds with layers of red and dark berry compote, complemented by notes of espresso, dark chocolate, and a touch of leather. Medium-plus in body, it showcases velvety tannins and a balanced acidity that lends structure and elegance to the wine.
